The house is organised around a single open volume. Kitchen, dining and living share the same light and the same palette; the transition between them is marked not by thresholds or a change of finish, but by furniture.
Natural oak returns as the leading material: the wall-hung kitchen fronts, the table top, the low unit beneath the television and the living-room bookcase are all the same species. Every other surface stays neutral — matt cream fronts, white walls, a pale floor — so that the timber alone sets the temperature of the room.
Lighting works in three layers: track spots for the general wash, low pendants over the table, and LED strips concealed in the bathroom niches. Every route was fixed in the technical documentation, before the plaster went on.
The bathrooms are treated as rooms in their own right rather than as service spaces: full-height travertine, solid timber counters, wall-mounted black taps and niches with indirect light. The same warm temperature as the rest of the house, at a lower intensity.
- Natural oak — fronts, counters and wall-hung units
- Travertine — full cladding in the bathrooms
- Matt cream handleless fronts on a profile rail
- Matt black metal — taps, furniture frames, lighting tracks
- Natural textiles in warm greys
